We welcome our new book in crime fiction category. IS SOMEONE WATCHING YOU?: Beware The Path You Take by Jean N. Brownhill.
Two years ago, Lily Riley, daughter of Detective Inspector, Jack Riley, disappeared on her way home from college. She has never been found. Following a breakdown, and a fruitless search for his precious daughter, Riley is finally back at his desk at Dudstone Police Station. Along with new partner, DS Sandy Morgan, Riley is quickly absorbed by the case assigned to him upon his return – the disappearance of young Catherine Bennett. At this stage Riley, Morgan and the investigative team have no idea there is a link between the two girls, and the historic murder of a cleaning lady. But when a dead body is discovered at a local nature reserve, and a witness comes forward with a car registration and crucial information, the team seem to have the breakthrough they’ve been desperate for. But solving this heinous crime and finding the perpetrator is no easy feat. This is just the start of unravelling a long, complicated crime which dates back decades. They must interview a series of suspects whose alibies and stories appear to have no substance, and dig deep into the historic abuse which plagues each of the cases. Welcome to this psychologically haunting world where nightmares are made, where identities are mistaken, where cycles of abuse keep repeating themselves, where young girls disappear without trace, where blood ties mean nothing and everything… Available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback editions: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SOMEONE-WATCHING-YOU-Beware-Path/dp/1527235505/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1545647641&sr=1-1&fbclid=IwAR2fg4KM2A57FjQiJqpqhHTA-DzU1Sh-u346ZeDPhdirtjebmETf6SQKLWA
